Strategic Account Manager

Sensibill is lighting up the FinTech industry with mobile solutions that change the way people interact with their purchases and enable corporations to make critical insights. As we continue our growth in Canada and around the world, we are looking to expand our Client Success team with a Strategic Account Manager.

We’re looking for an account manager who wants to be front centre with our clients as the primary point of contact. Someone who is comfortable and confident working closely both externally with clients to ensure their success, as well as internally across the organization to coordinate priorities and deadlines. Someone who is organized. Who is an analytical thinker who can balance what is necessary vs. what is possible. Someone who wants to truly make their mark on our clients and our company...and wants to do it in an energetic start-up environment at the cutting edge of the #fintech industry.

Please note that this is not a sales role, it is relationship management and customer success.

As our new Strategic Account Manager, you will:

  • Own. Be responsible for owning the client’s satisfaction with Sensibill and operate as a trusted partner and advisor to enable the client to succeed.
  • Support. Guide the client through their onboarding and delivery, brokering any requests for information and interfacing with the client’s business units and marketing teams to plan rollout strategies.
  • Maintain. Ensure ongoing communication and a positive relationship with the client’s product owner to plan and strategize on initiatives to increase adoption.
  • Collaborate. Work across the organization internally to ensure that projects and timelines are met, as well as externally to prioritize, ensure accountability, and provide direction.  
  • Thrive. Work effectively and efficiently in an Agile environment; and flourish with minimal supervision.

 Who are you?

  • A communication all-star. You are comfortable collaborating with individuals at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally with our clients. You have an expert grasp of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • A passionate problem solver. You enjoy connecting with clients and taking responsibility to identify solutions to quickly resolve any issues or concerns.  
  • Detail-oriented. You are organized to a T. You are comfortable juggling many things at once and never let things fall through the cracks.
  • A lover of hats. You want to wear a lot of them. You understand that in a start-up environment, everyone needs to do whatever it takes to meet deadlines and deliver promises.  

This is what you bring:

  • A post-secondary degree in business, commerce, or a related field from a recognized Canadian institution.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in account management or customer success, ideally within the financial services or technology industries.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the financial services or payments industry, particularly retail and commercial banking and digital channels, or a demonstrable ability to get up-to-speed quickly.
