Project Manager

Sensibill is lighting up the FinTech industry with mobile solutions that change the way people interact with their purchases and enable corporations to make critical insights. As we continue our growth in Canada and around the world, we are looking to expand our Client Services team with a detail oriented and dynamic Project Manager.

We’re looking for a Project Manager who is excited about the prospect of owning client relationships and solving challenging problems. Someone who can mobilize a team, soothe a client, and outline a solution without missing a beat. This is not a pass-thru project manager role. It’s a role for someone who wants to be aware of all the details and enjoys being involved at every turn. We need someone who can dabble in a BA role, fill the shoes of a consultant, and wear the hat of an agile project manager.

As our new Project Manager, you will…

  • Be the single point of contact, engaging our clients from kick-off through to go-live, all while building rock-solid relationships and consistently developing creative solutions that solve client needs.
  • Provide customization, support, and explanation for clients to help them understand what they really need and what they will be building on their end.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project implementation process and our products.
  • Relay information faster than an LTE network. Always the liaison, you will transfer information clearly and succinctly between our clients, our Client Success team, our developers, and our management.
  • Smooth the road ahead. Anticipating potential problems, identifying and articulating dependencies and risks, and mitigating issues before they arise.

  • A seasoned single point of contact. You pride yourself on your ability to learn new technologies quickly, understand solutions, and explain them in depth, to the client. You enjoy the curve of a project timeline and you are never at a loss for what to do or how to balance all of the things that need doing.
  • An architect-parent hybrid. You build relationships and become the trusted advisor to your internal and external team members.
  • A problem solver. You have a unique approach to finding solutions. You know how to elicit information, navigate unchartered paths, and effectively resolve issues using all available resources. You are constantly on the search for new and different ways of solving problems and proactively working with your internal team and the client team for a smooth go-live.
  • Detail-oriented. You do everything you can to make sure everything is taken care of, to the best of the ability of your team and yourself. You hold yourself to high standards of integrity and accountability.
  • A fantastic communicator. Whether presenting requirements to senior leadership, drafting written reports or building relationships with clients, you have a clear and concise way of sharing information.

This is what you bring...

  • A post secondary degree in business, commerce, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in project management, software delivery, or client services, ideally in the financial services or telecommunications industries.  
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the financial services or payments industry, particularly retail and commercial banking and digital channels, or a demonstrable ability to get up-to-speed quickly.
